BIO: Mary essentially got introduced to digital marketing when she was a web developer (webmaster) for 247realmedia.com headquartered in New York– a 500 fortune company. Previous to that, she worked for LTV Networks as a TV producer and editor.
While working for 24/7 RealMedia as a web developer, she had the opportunity to get involved with internet marketing, email marketing and paid advertising projects (display advertising). Most importantly, managing some of those campaigns through the company’s proprietary ad serving technology Open Adstream. This, gave her an in-depth insight into internet marketing at its very early stages. By 2006, Mary was the creative director for Empire Media, a digital marketing and online network publishing company. Subsequently, she moved on to become traffic online operations manager for Empire Media’s subsidiary find.com (a B2B search engine). By 2009, she joined Media Trust as the Media Buy Manager for the in-house affiliate division.
She has worked with clients such as the NYtimes.com, HP, American Express. In Creative direction, Client services, Interactive strategy. Web dev. SMM, SEO & Video integration.
A quote from Mary:
“One thing that I’ve learned through the years working with SEO, SEM, vital Marketing, and digital marketing in general, is that this is an acquired skill with a mix of creativity that can only be obtained with years of experience, practice, and the constant monitoring and testing of new trends.”
Currently, her new passion and work interest is focused towards International Digital Marketing (IDM) research & implementation, and writing her new book on Integrated Digital Marketing Management.
