I know many years ago using coupons was one of those things our grand mothers used to do as a sort of habit we never quite understood. But the matter of fact is the price of food has gone up about 8% in the past year, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. It wont be a bad idea putting into practice what our grand mom did back in the day. By developing a habit of saving money with coupons, we could actually save up to $150 a month on our grocery spendings. After all, our grandparents went through some recessions; therefore, they knew better than us how to economized.
