We can save up to $150 on grocery using coupons.

March 8th, 2009

target_coupon1I know many years ago using coupons was one of those things our grand mothers used to do as a sort of habit we never quite understood. But the matter of fact is the price of food has gone up about 8% in the past year, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. It wont be a bad idea putting into practice what our grand mom did back in the day. By developing a habit of saving money with coupons, we could actually save up to $150 a month on our grocery spendings. After all, our grandparents went through some recessions; therefore, they knew better than us how to economized.

shop1Below is a compiled list of websites that offer free coupons. Some sites also give up credit or saving points by shopping online and off line. There’s no paid subscription to use these online coupons. The electronic coupons come from our well-known brands. Hey, this is the year 2009, back then, grandmas didn’t have computers as we do now.

LINKS to grocery coupon, printable coupons, and free coupons:

Electronic coupons: www.coupons.com
How it works: It works the same way as a paper coupon the only difference is that instead of cutting the peace of paper you click (select) the coupons you are interested in and then click print. You can select as many as you want and leave behind the coupons you don’t need, so you only print what the coupon or coupons you’re going to use.

Online Bargains Mall (electronics, food and more): www.shopzilla.com
How it works: This is a Bargain Prices Mall. Instead of going out shopping mall by mall or store by store to find what you are looking for and at the price you want (method that uses a lot of time and money–on gas or transportation), you can do the same thing from the comfort of your house or office.
